The 2013 Teen Choice Awards just got a little more patriotic.

Demi Lovato will be performing her second Demi single, “Made in the USA,” this Sunday (August 11).

“It’s truuue!! I’m performing #MadeInTheUSA on the Teen Choice Awards!!” Lovato tweeted. “Tune in to Fox on Sun. and get it on iTunes!!”

The live performance marks Lovato’s first since taking a brief hiatus to get her tonsils removed last month. However, now that the tonsils are out of the way, it seems Lovato could be suffering from another setback.

“That one time I sprained my foot because I was the idiot that rock-climbed without strapping into a harness first,” Lovato tweeted shortly after she was confirmed as a performer. “Not my brightest moment.”

Fingers crossed that the “X Factor” judge’s injury is minor because she may lifting several surfboards come night’s end since she is up for six Teen Choice awards (Lovato has previously won 11 awards), including Choice TV: Personality- Female and Choice Female Artist for “Heart Attack,” which puts her up against Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and “Pitch Perfect” star Anna Kendrick.

Lovato joins previously announced performers Paramore and One Direction who will open the show with their first-ever performance of their latest single, “Best Song Ever.”

The show will be hosted by “Glee’s” Darren Criss and “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale. Hollywood’s hottest young stars will be in attendance during Sunday’s show, including six-time nominee Selena Gomez, Nina Dobrev, The Wanted and Liam Hemsworth.
