It’s been awhile since Foxy Brown sat down for an in-depth interview, and on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, the Brooklyn-bred rapper will make her first appearance on “RapFix Live” to chat with host Sway Calloway. Pusha-T will also be live in the studio to make an announcement about his anticipated debut album, My Name Is My Name.

Foxy Brown burst onto the scene with her 1996 debut album, Ill Na Na, followed by 1999’s Chyna Doll and Broken Silence in 2001. Brown, born Inga Marchand, was signed to Def Jam when she was only 17 years old, appearing on hits like Jay Z’s “Ain’t No N—a” and teaming up with Lil Kim, Da Brat and Total for the now-infamous remix of “No One Else.”

Later in her career, Foxy would deal with label woes, legal issues and sudden hearing loss that derailed her musical efforts — but the Don Diva is gearing up for her return, while pushing her latest single, “Band$$$ Up.”

G.O.O.D. Music rapper Pusha-T will follow her appearance with a very special announcement about his upcoming solo album, My Name Is My Name, which will be released via Def Jam this year. Last year, Push previewed the single “40 Acres” for MTV News, and soon enough, fans will be able to hear it in full.

Catch Foxy Brown and Pusha-T on “RapFix Live” Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV Jams and RapFix.MTV.com. Join the conversation using the hashtag #RapFixLive and send your questions for the MCs to @MTVRapFix!
